For the main spaceâkitchen, dining, and living room in oneâKayne began designing from the vintage wood-burning fireplace outwards, decorating the area with shades of red, burlwood accents, and âlots of nature-inspired moments.â Splashes of red appear elsewhere in the house, like the travertine sinktop in the bathroom, laden with the Oak Essentials Balancing Mist and perpetually burning votive candle sets. Complimentary Crown Affair products sit in the shower, and guests can towel off with Weezie linens.
Among Kayneâs signature style is a plethora of curated vintage pieces, sourced in collaboration with Sheila Bouttier from Galerie Provenance, including antique vases, bowls, end tables, and even vintage horse figurines. Kayneâs favorite detail in the property is, in fact, not the sauna, the greenhouse, or the sweeping views, but the custom Dorset Delft tiles by Aviva Halter that form the backsplash in the kitchenâolive, peach, and lemon branches on cream-colored tile.
Kayneâs team worked with tried-and-true brands for outsourced inspiration: paint from Portola Paints, a pendant by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni, knobs and pulls from Sun Valley Bronze, Waterworks for sink essentials, and window treatments from WOVN Home. âEach brand is known for their timeless qualityâwhich is something we really stand for,â says Kayne.
Beginning today, customers can book a night at Jenni Kayneâs Tivoli farmhouse through Airbnb. Pricing starts at $1,360 and includes access to the hot tub, pool, and sauna. Here, you can sit back, relax, and enjoy a leisurely river walk on the Hudson. Or, follow Kayneâs rec to drive out to neighboring Pine Plains for dinner at Stissing House: âNo trip to the Farmhouse is complete without a dinner there. Trust me, itâs magical.â
