The event, which creates friendly competition between states and New Zealand three times a year, saw participation from 370 registered offices and more than 2,600 members.

Ray White Head of Recognition and Performance Bianca Denham said the event was vital for business growth.

“Real Estate of Origin is perennially relevant and it will set your business up for 2025,” Ms Denham said.

“The opportunities that come out of this will ensure you are in a strong place to hit the ground running in the new year.”

The standout individual performer was Charlie Brothers from Ray White Manukau, who booked an extraordinary 155 appraisals.

Mr Brothers, who transitioned from truck driving to real estate, has consistently topped the REOO leaderboard over many years.

Ray White Manukau sales manager Richie Lewis put their success down to strong office culture and effective use of technology.

“We have close to 70 people here on the phones today across all our offices,” Mr Lewis said.

“NurtureCloud has been fantastic and given us a systemised program that we can all get around.”

The event is designed to push participants beyond their comfort zones.

“One of the things we hear all the time about Real Estate of Origin is that it’s really hard,” Ms Denham said.

“And it is, it’s meant to push us out of our comfort zones.”

Since its inception, the group has booked a total of 124,733 appraisals across all REOO events, with their highest-ever single event recording 11,500 appraisals in October 2024.

Their ambitious goal is to reach 16,000 appraisals.

Ray White chief economist Nerida Conisbee said rate cuts have boosted sentiment which helped the event.

“We had two sets of rate cuts last week, we had a big one in NZ which has been cutting for a while now,” Ms Conisbee said.

“Australia saw their first cut in a very long time.

“It’s very good news for individuals and people’s budgets but also the property industry.”

Offices across the network embraced creative approaches to energise their teams.

Ray White Wilston in Brisbane adopted a Mario Karts theme, with custom-made go-karts for team members and tracking appraisals along a “Rainbow Road.”

Ray White Taylors Lakes in Melbourne achieved their personal best with 159 booked appraisals in just four hours, making 1,234 calls with 474 connections.

Sales agent Amanda Micallef led the office with an impressive 41 appraisals.

In South Australia, more than 150 agents representing 25 businesses gathered at the Morphett Vale race track, aiming for 1,200 appraisals from the combined South Australian and Northern Territory networks.

The Ray White Rural network participated in REOO for the first time, with 12 members from the Ray White Central West Group generating 89 appraisals, two listings, and two property management agreements.

Ray White Head of Strategy Mark McLeod said there was a lot of energy and commitment across the network.

“Our momentum is building, and our success is firing,” Mr McLeod said.

“We are outlisting our opposition because we are out calling our opposition.”
