When it comes to luxury makeup brands, I want products that I know I can trust. When you’re spending a little bit more on foundation, concealer or even an eyeshadow palette, you want to know that it’s going to be worth the cash. One thing I’m particularly interested in when shopping for new makeup is who is behind the brand itself. I personally love products that have been created by people in the industry whom I’ve looked up to for years, and these are often the products that become mainstays in my makeup bag for years to come. They just get it, you know?
So, when one of the most iconic makeup artists of all time launched her own brand back in 2019, you bet I was ready and waiting to get my hands on anything I could. Wondering who I could be talking about? None other than Lisa Eldridge. Yes, Eldridge has worked with some of the biggest models, photographers and beauty brands in the world, so she definitely knows a thing or two about creating a good makeup product.
Her eponymous beauty brand started as a range of lipsticks, but in recent years, the product offering has expanded to complexion products, eye makeup, tools and more. I thought it was about time that I put all of the bestsellers to the test to create a full makeup look. Keep on scrolling to see how I got on and to shop my top picks…
The Best Lisa Eldridge Makeup Products, Tried & Tested
1. Lisa Eldridge Seamless Skin Enhancing Tint
Lisa Eldridge
Seamless Skin Enhancing Tint
First up is the Seamless Skin Enhancing Tint. The brand has two base products on offer, one being the Seamless Skin Foundation and the second being this lightweight skin tint. As someone who prefers a natural, glowy makeup look, I knew that this product would be right up my street. It doesn’t have as many shades as the foundation, but a good range is still available. I opted for the shade T2, which has a neutral golden undertone.
The first thing I loved when testing this product was the packaging. It comes in a slim, pebble-shaped tube that is easy to throw into your handbag. The formula itself was a little runnier than I expected, but this made it so easy to blend, and it felt so lightweight on the skin. It is packed full of hydrating ingredients such as glycerin, prickly pear seed oil and squalane, giving your complexion a plump, naturally luminous finish. Although it doesn’t have as much coverage as a foundation, I found that this evened out my skin tone and blurred any imperfections. I can see myself reaching for this every single day during the spring and summer months.
For
- Compact packaging
- Easy to blend in
- Packed full of hydrating ingredients
- Gives a naturally luminous finish
Against
- Can be a little messy to apply
2. Lisa Eldridge Pinpoint Concealer
Lisa Eldridge
Pinpoint Concealer Micro Correcting Pencil
I’d never used a concealer like this before writing this article, and now I’m wondering why I went so long without trying it. If you didn’t know, makeup artist Lisa Eldridge is known for applying her concealer in a specific way. Let me introduce you to the pinpoint concealer technique. This technique is all about applying a high-coverage formula to the areas where you need it the most, rather than using concealer on large areas of your face. The beauty of this technique is that it allows your natural skin to shine through and keeps your makeup looking light and fresh.
Eldridge recently launched her own pinpoint concealer pencil, and after trying it out, I’m fully converted. The creamy, gel formula is very pigmented, so it made light work of concealing my blemishes and post-blemish marks. All you have to do is scribble it on, blend it out with your finger and you’re good to go. I honestly feel like this product has made my morning makeup routine so much quicker, and I now carry it with me for on-the-go touch-ups.
For
- Creamy formula
- Highly pigmented
- Easy to use
Against
- Not the best concealer for under the eyes
3. Lisa Eldridge Elevated Glow Highlighter
Lisa Eldridge
Elevated Glow Highlighter
Lisa Eldridge doesn’t currently have a bronzer or blusher as part of her makeup line, so after applying my own products, I moved on to testing out this liquid highlighter. Although I love a glowy makeup look, I’m not a highlighter kind of person. You see, I want my makeup to look naturally glowy, and I find that most liquid highlighters can add a shimmery effect. However, this did no such thing.
I applied this formula to the high points of my face, and my skin was left looking naturally plump and juicy. I opted for the shade Cosmic Rose, which added a gorgeous golden glow that made it look as if the sun was hitting my face in all the right places. Much like the products above, this formula is packed with skin-loving ingredients, and the creamy texture glides onto the skin in seconds. If you want a natural-looking highlighter to reach for in the summer months, I suggest trying this ASAP.
For
- Easy to apply
- Contains skin-loving ingredients
- Adds a natural-looking glow
Against
- If you prefer a more statement highlighter then this might not be for you
4. Lisa Eldridge Eyeshadow Palette
Lisa Eldridge
Muse Eyeshadow Palette
I love applying a bit of eyeshadow when I feel like making an effort with my makeup, which is why I was so excited to get my hands on this palette. I find that pink and brown tones complement my eye colour the most, so I opted for the Muse colourway, which contains a mix of rosy shades. The product itself comes in the most chic, compact gold packaging and has a large mirror in the lid, so it’s another great option for throwing in your handbag.
The buttery formulas were so easy to blend, and I liked the fact that I could choose between matte and shimmery finishes. I used a lighter shade on the inner corner of my eye and blended a deeper shade into the crease and fell in love with the finished result. The only thing I would say is that the eyeshadows didn’t last all day on me, but I do have very oily eyelids and often struggle with this. That being said, I would recommend investing in a good eyeshadow primer to ensure that your makeup stays in place.
For
- Compact packaging
- Buttery formulas
- Easy to blend
- A range of finishes
5. Lisa Eldridge Kitten Lash Mascara
Lisa Eldridge
Kitten Lash Mascara Burnt Umber
New from the brand, the Kitten Lash Mascara now comes in the most gorgeous, warm brown shade. I love brown mascara as it feels a little bit softer than black, so this was another product that I couldn’t wait to get my hands on.
The mascara itself has been designed to deliver a featherlight formula for soft, bouncy lashes, and it definitely delivered. Each of my lashes was separated and lengthened to perfection after just one coat of this, and the result was a natural, fluttery effect that lasted all day long. You could build this up for a more statement finish, but I found that one or two coats was perfect for me.
For
- Now comes in a warm brown shade
- Separates and lengthens lashes
- Lasts all day
Against
- Might not be enough volume for some
6. Lisa Eldridge Sculpt and Shade Lip Pencil
Lisa Eldridge
Sculpt and Shade Lip Pencil
Now, onto the lips. I chose this lip liner in the shade 1C, a light pink with cool undertones. Each shade has been designed to look natural on the lips to help add that sculpted effect. The pencil itself has a matte, soft-focus finish and is perfect for defining the shape of your lips while still giving that slightly blurred-out effect.
One thing I really liked was the fact that the pencil came with a Lisa Eldridge sharpener, as I was able to sharpen the pencil after using it to make sure that it was super precise every time I went to top up my look. It’s worth noting that I did have to top this up quite a bit throughout the day, but I was applying a very light layer, so I didn’t expect it to last that long.
For
- Matte, soft-focus finish
- Precise tip to sculpt the lips
- Comes with a sharpener
Against
- Have to top up throughout the day
7. Lisa Eldridge Baume Embrace Melting Lip Colour
Lisa Eldridge
Baume Embrace Melting Lip Colour
I really saved the best for last with this one. This is, hands down, the creamiest, most hydrating lipstick I have ever come across. I went for the shade Épanoui, a mauve pink, that complemented my lip liner nicely.
Now, this product isn’t as pigmented as your normal lipstick. Instead, it adds a sheer, glossy finish that I personally love for the warmer months. The formula itself is so buttery, and I cannot get enough. It contains a trio of hydrating butters, including shea butter, murumuru butter and wild mango kernel butter, alongside jojoba oil and pomegranate flower extract to add a plumping effect. I’ve not gone a day without this product since getting my hands on it.
For
- Buttery, hydrating formula
- Adds a sheer, glossy effect
Against
- Would love to see a bigger shade range
