With a combined 30 years of experience, the trio is poised to cement their position as a dominant force in the South Sydney industrial market.
Marcus Schraag brings 10 years of experience in the South Sydney industrial sector, having held a director role for the past three years.
Rising through the ranks from a junior role, Mr Schraag has built a reputation as a trusted expert in the area, working with a diverse client base, from private landlords and small business owners to major global institutions.
“South Sydney is one of the hottest industrial markets in Australia,” Mr Schraag said.
“With its proximity to the port, airport, and CBD, it attracts some of the biggest developers and a wide range of businesses.
“The diversity of the market is what makes it so exciting to work in.”
“The timing was right for me personally. It was time to build my business up, and the Ray White platform offers the best technology and training to do that,” Mr Schraag said.
“The opportunity to work with William, one of the best in the industry, was too good to pass up.”
Sales and leasing executive Costa Fragias also joins the team, bringing a background in sales, entrepreneurship, and a strong family connection to real estate.
Having worked in residential sales before transitioning to industrial under Mr Schraag’s mentorship, Mr Fragias has honed his expertise in the industrial strata market.
“I love the business aspects of industrial real estate,” Mr Fragias said.
“It’s less emotional and more about understanding the needs of business owners and sharpening my knowledge of the market.”
“The reputation of Ray White speaks for itself; it’s a global brand with an incredible support network.
“The training and resources we’ve already received in just a few months have been invaluable.
“Being in the same office as RW Capital and the Valuations team gives us an incredible referral network.
“Plus, the opportunity to work under Will and Marcus is a huge step forward for me.”
Reflecting on the business’s expansion, William Gathercole is excited about what the year ahead holds for RWC Industrial City South.
“Bringing Marcus on as a partner and having Costa join our team is a game-changer,” Mr Gathercole said.
“We have the right people in place to continue growing and providing the best service in the market.”
“Our next step is launching our property management division.
“For now, we’re keeping the team nimble and focused, ensuring we cover the market comprehensively while continuing to grow strategically.”
“With a powerhouse team now in place, RWC Industrial City South is set for a dynamic year ahead, continuing to deliver top-tier service and expertise to South Sydney’s thriving industrial market,” James Linacre, head of commercial at RWC said.
